Hi, it's been a long time since I posted, since I have been really busy :(.

First, I shall start off with the class outing. Haizzz, didn't really feel like a class outing since slightly less than half of the class showed up. We were supposed to gather at JEC at 10.30am, I was 5 mins late but it turned out that I was the earliest .... in the end I waited for about half an hour before a few more people showed up ... sian, weicheng advised me that next time there's a class outing, I should juz leave my house at the specified time, coze even so I won't be late o.O ...... in the end while waiting for the others we prepared verena's farewell gift ---- a photo album. Haizzz, they took a photo that was taken during JTS and .... nvm dun feel like toking abt it .... After that, we sort of gave up on the idea of iceskating as the area was rather crowded. After lunch we went to douglas's house, wow feel damn ZB after seeing his house and 2 out of his family's 6 cars. Sang K-box all the way till 11pm, almost missed the last train while trying to get home, haha.

The 4B outing was quite fun as well, played 4 hr plus of pool. Everyone got addicted to the game and somehow lost track of time. After that, we went to jianting's house and played several games of asshole dai dee, bridge and risk. Risk was a rather bad choice though. We played mission and we started playing at 11pm, by 3am we still couldn't complete our missions ><. We were so pissed we juz gave up on the game. My general mission was to conquer 3 continents ><, which was practically impossible since there were 5 players and only 6 continents. Left pretty early the next day since my homework was really piling up and the finals of Char Yong Cup was drawing near.

Char Yong Cup finals was really tough. I played 4 rounds on saturday. My first round opponent was Samuel from VJ, who was quite tough. I managed to get a 2 piece advantage but in the end I won by time -_-". My second round opponent was timothy from AJ who really gave me a hard time, he was attacking me rather fiercely at one time but luckily I managed to find a solution and that really saved my life ... My third round opponent --- Song Yida, I was like complaining why do I get sharks as my opponents every round and I felt as though I was fishing in troubled waters. Lol, he said but I have managed to survive so far .... in the end I managed to force a draw even though I was at a disadvantage ( 1 cannon 1 horse 4 pawns VS 2 horse 2 pawns). 所谓的死里逃生， 应该就是指这个吧. Finally, my last round opponent was not as scary but he did a lot of exchange and the game was almost likely to be a draw, but he made a bad move, I capitalised on that and won. That concludes the first day --- 3.5/4.

The 2nd day was even tougher. My fifth round opponent was XianKai from AJ, who was really tough since he actually managed to win Zixian on the first day. I played carefully and managed to win though. For the sixth round, I got my worst dreaded opponent --- Ng Junyang, national youth representative. He was owning me like mad at the start but in the end I managed to force a draw even though I had a 2 pawn and 2 elephant disadvantage. 又一次死里逃生, phew .... My last round opponent was Zixian and since we're from the same school we just agreed to draw and help each other.

In the end, Junyang got champion (as expected), I got second and Zixian got 6th. I suppose this was better than what I expected. The top eight were as follows: 1st --- Junyang, 2nd --- me, 3rd --- XianKai, 4th --- Timothy, 5th --- Yong Hua (NJ), 6th --- Zixian, 7th --- Justino (AJ), 8th --- Samuel. One interesting point that Zixian pointed was that out of the 7 opponents I fought, 5 were in the top 8. I had the highest opponent score of all the participants :) . One important experience I gained is that no matter how bad the situation can seem, there will always be chances. 劣势求和， 也算是种胜利.

K, happy times are over. Immediately after the prize presentation ceremony, I left and reached home at 8, then studied math till midnight since there was class test the next day :(. Well, the math test wasn't really difficult, regretted mugging for it, now I've got a physics lecture test to study by tmr and I am still at Kinematics only. Haizzzz, will be really happy when I get through the physics test tmr. I seriously need a break.
