Hmm, havent posted for quite some time. Well, it's been quite hectic these few days. Econs timed assignment, Chem class test ...

Haizzz, brain not active these few days ... juz mistook soap for shampoo when I was bathing yesterday, leaving a rather unpleasant sensation in my hair afterwards :( . 4 people did not come to school today, and I am STILL COUGHING after 1 month ... sometimes I feel like I am the one spreading the germs around >< .... Econs was okay, chem quite tough, still got GP assignment tmr, SIAN ... feel like juz ponning sch and get my cough treated once and for all.

Well, got some pretty nice programmes coming up, planning to go bowling with my friends on Thursday and an open competition next Saturday. Haha, time to get owned .... the last open competition was a nightmare but this time I think I will fare better this time round :) It's team competition and guess what? Junyang's on my team! Haha, tt's pretty cool isnt it?

Oh yah, srry jt for forgetting to mention you during my last blog post. He contributed to HwaChong by helping us draw You Zhi Yong from Bedok View Secondary who won mi, zixian and leslie last yr. Zhi Yong was champion for 宗乡会馆杯 last yr, but apparently he didnt do too well this year. Anyway, thnx jianting. Thanks to all other participants who gave me moral support, especially when I got Junyang as my opponent :) . I won $150 from the competition and I am supposed to treat all of them(leslie, jinxiang, jianting), tell me when all of are free in my tagboard k?

It's Founder's Day tmr = no lesson. YAY! Finally can sleep early today, haven't had enough sleep since Saturday :( .

Hi, it's been a long time since I posted, since I have been really busy :(.

First, I shall start off with the class outing. Haizzz, didn't really feel like a class outing since slightly less than half of the class showed up. We were supposed to gather at JEC at 10.30am, I was 5 mins late but it turned out that I was the earliest .... in the end I waited for about half an hour before a few more people showed up ... sian, weicheng advised me that next time there's a class outing, I should juz leave my house at the specified time, coze even so I won't be late o.O ...... in the end while waiting for the others we prepared verena's farewell gift ---- a photo album. Haizzz, they took a photo that was taken during JTS and .... nvm dun feel like toking abt it .... After that, we sort of gave up on the idea of iceskating as the area was rather crowded. After lunch we went to douglas's house, wow feel damn ZB after seeing his house and 2 out of his family's 6 cars. Sang K-box all the way till 11pm, almost missed the last train while trying to get home, haha.

The 4B outing was quite fun as well, played 4 hr plus of pool. Everyone got addicted to the game and somehow lost track of time. After that, we went to jianting's house and played several games of asshole dai dee, bridge and risk. Risk was a rather bad choice though. We played mission and we started playing at 11pm, by 3am we still couldn't complete our missions ><. We were so pissed we juz gave up on the game. My general mission was to conquer 3 continents ><, which was practically impossible since there were 5 players and only 6 continents. Left pretty early the next day since my homework was really piling up and the finals of Char Yong Cup was drawing near.

Char Yong Cup finals was really tough. I played 4 rounds on saturday. My first round opponent was Samuel from VJ, who was quite tough. I managed to get a 2 piece advantage but in the end I won by time -_-". My second round opponent was timothy from AJ who really gave me a hard time, he was attacking me rather fiercely at one time but luckily I managed to find a solution and that really saved my life ... My third round opponent --- Song Yida, I was like complaining why do I get sharks as my opponents every round and I felt as though I was fishing in troubled waters. Lol, he said but I have managed to survive so far .... in the end I managed to force a draw even though I was at a disadvantage ( 1 cannon 1 horse 4 pawns VS 2 horse 2 pawns). 所谓的死里逃生， 应该就是指这个吧. Finally, my last round opponent was not as scary but he did a lot of exchange and the game was almost likely to be a draw, but he made a bad move, I capitalised on that and won. That concludes the first day --- 3.5/4.

The 2nd day was even tougher. My fifth round opponent was XianKai from AJ, who was really tough since he actually managed to win Zixian on the first day. I played carefully and managed to win though. For the sixth round, I got my worst dreaded opponent --- Ng Junyang, national youth representative. He was owning me like mad at the start but in the end I managed to force a draw even though I had a 2 pawn and 2 elephant disadvantage. 又一次死里逃生, phew .... My last round opponent was Zixian and since we're from the same school we just agreed to draw and help each other.

In the end, Junyang got champion (as expected), I got second and Zixian got 6th. I suppose this was better than what I expected. The top eight were as follows: 1st --- Junyang, 2nd --- me, 3rd --- XianKai, 4th --- Timothy, 5th --- Yong Hua (NJ), 6th --- Zixian, 7th --- Justino (AJ), 8th --- Samuel. One interesting point that Zixian pointed was that out of the 7 opponents I fought, 5 were in the top 8. I had the highest opponent score of all the participants :) . One important experience I gained is that no matter how bad the situation can seem, there will always be chances. 劣势求和， 也算是种胜利.

K, happy times are over. Immediately after the prize presentation ceremony, I left and reached home at 8, then studied math till midnight since there was class test the next day :(. Well, the math test wasn't really difficult, regretted mugging for it, now I've got a physics lecture test to study by tmr and I am still at Kinematics only. Haizzzz, will be really happy when I get through the physics test tmr. I seriously need a break.

My first opponent for Day 2 was quite strong, took quite a bit of effort to win. Well, for the second round, we just agreed to draw since the score will be reset for the finals. In the end, I got 3/4 for prelims, not bad =). In the end, all Hwa Chongians who took part except for one got into the finals, the one who didn't get in was our senior who really did not have any competition mood at all as he had to study for block test =(

West zone's results was pretty okay, 19 out of 49 participants got into the finals, with participants from various schools. My first opponent for the 2nd day got 20th ... that's pretty unfortunate. He was quite good and I feel pretty bad for ruining his chances of getting into the finals.

North zone's results was crazy, AJC dominated the finalist's list. Only participants from AJ got into the finals, lol ... Feel sad for the other schools.

My friends pointed out something interesting after the competition, NJ was put into the South zone (which is a much easier zone) and we HC were put into the West zone, which was a much tougher zone with fierce competitors from RV and not forgetting Ng Junyang from JJC who is a national representative ><. The reason NJ was put into the South zone was becoze they were A ROAD away from us. Just becoze of ONE ROAD and they had a much easier time than us ... wth is this ....

Happy Bdae, Verena! Class outing tmr at JEC and douglas's house, YAY! But b4 tt, need to finish my hw and study for phy and math test first, haha. Coze todae is my only free day... (Tmr class outing, Thur and Fri ==> hanging out with ex-4B ers, wkend ==> Char Yong Cup finals).

Btw, congratulations to Jianting for getting into the finals =)

Played 2 rounds yesterdae, or in fact only 1 round... My first round opponent was not that strong, but I took a hell lot of time to win him, coze made 1 wrong move in the beginning. Sian, my coach called mi when I juz woke up and he niaoed mi like siaoooo ><

My second round was screwed. I had to play Zixian, another player from our school. Sian, someone must be pulling the strings from behind --- making the good schools 自相残杀. Just for our school alone, 4 out of 6 players which took part in the competition had to 自相残杀. In the end, we just agreed to draw. HAIZ, tt's 0.5 out of 4 marks gone ><. It was the same situation for AJ too. Damn pissed with the way Xiang Zong organise the pairings ....

Stayed behind after competition to mingle with players from other schools, a bad move .... Apparently, they have been reading my blog >< and they were niaoing mi like crazy .... Haizzz, my ex-classmates from 4B 也不例外... Under the pretext of wanting to observe my new phone, they changed my phone name(as observed in bluetooth), my profile and also edited my contacts ... Exactly what they did, it doesn't take much of a genius to find out ....

一波未平，一波又起. Things are really getting out of hand, my friends in HCJC are taking every chance they have to spread this to other schools, especially details that are not available on my blog >< Nvm, shall stay focused on competition, must get into finals. Gd luck to mi as well as other participants from HCJC =)

Yay, got back my pencil case, luckily my seniors kept it in the cupboard for me. Can't imagine what would happen if I really couldn't find it, guess I would be screwed up pretty badly by my mum, since it would be the 2nd scientific calculator I lost ><

Had SCSF this morning, well got a COP (as expected), but I suppose it was good exposure for us. Q and A was better than expected, though the judges asked us a question which screwed us up pretty badly : "What's the principle behind the ability of Calcium Alginate to adsorb heavy metals" and we were like ... perma stunned ... That was a really fundamental question that we did not foresee, but nvm what's over is over =) Finally, I can have a normal sleeping pattern again ^^ Yay!

Went to have a haircut after SCSF, sian, my hair was ruined. That barber shaved off my sideburn totally >< Making my hair look pretty puffed up. I think he hardly used the scissors at all, one shaver did all the job. Haizzz, suanz le, luckily my hair grows back quickly.

Gonna have Char Yong Cup in less than 24 hrs. Havent mug at all, sian, nvm going for a consolidation lesson at my coach's house tmr, hope tt would suffice.

Btw, CMI stands for can make it/ can't make it/ count me in. Tt's all rite? Did I leave out anything? If so, pls post in my tagboard. Currently building up on my knowledge of slang, lest 又被耍. Hmm, Clement's birthday in 10 days time, must make sure he gets flagpoled =)

End of term 1 marks the end of scandals, teasing etc. Must get back to mugging mode, not that I am a mugger anyway, haha.

Haizzz, NUS chem fair this Saturday, Char Yong Cup Preliminaries this Sunday and next Monday, what a lively hols I am going to have, not including the time that needs to be spent on studying physics and maths >< Finding it pretty difficult to cope nowadays, I am half asleep during most lessons =( as my sleeping pattern is disrupted by chem project, although not as bad as my friend, who slept at 3.30am yesterday to do the poster. 总之，will be very glad when it's over ... Gonna get dismissed early tmr at 1pm so as to mount our poster in NUS, guess tt's the only good thing tt came out the project =).

Left my pencil case in A212, haizz, have to borrow stuff here and there these few days, getting really absent-minded, what's up with me? This is like the dozenth time I left my pencil case in school since Sec 1, guess I am the only one who faces this problem =(.

Verena came back to school again today, seems like her appeal failed =(. Feel really sad for her, feels as though sixC will never be the same again without her, but as her classmate I wish her well in her journey ahead. Jiayou! Verena, sixC will always be behind u!

Char Yong Cup Prelims in 3 days, haiz havent mug at all yet ... sianz, AJ, NJ and HCJC all put in the same zone, 天下大乱了. What is Xiang Zong doing??? Dun expect to do well as I haven't been in the right state of mind these few days, totally no mood for competition ......

GTG now, juz rmbed I need to do econs tutorial. Grrrrrr, approaching the end of term 1 liao still like that ... must pick up time management skills ...

Yoz, went Sentosa yesterday, woke up at 9am only to be informed that there's an outing at 9.20am by Weicheng on MSN. Apparently, Clement called when I was bathing and he gave up after that, so I didn't get the message =( Nevertheless, still went there at 10.30am. Played beach volleyball and soccer, it was quite fun, got a bit of sunburn though and my feet hurt -_-"

Went skyride and luge with Clement after that. Skyride was okay, Clement told me to hold my bag tight and it dropped a second later =(. Luckily the staff helped me get it =). Had my first luge ride ever too, went really slow coze of fear of crashing and overturning. Went home with Clement after that (a bad choice), Clement introduced me a new word: "T***" and made me repeat tt word over and over agn, claiming that I pronounced it wrongly. He also made me say stuff like "I like T***" and "I love T***", I knew something was wrong since he was laughing throughout the bus journey ...

I finally found out why todae, but b4 tt, I did something really stupid. Clement made me ask around what was T***, I think I asked like about half the class and all their reactions were the same: *Giggle* *Giggle*, then turn away, so I nvr got to find out what it meant =(. At long last, Clement told me what it meant, then I was like OMG ... 被耍了 HAIZZZZ.

It is also Verena's last day in HCI today. It's so sad, and all the more worse for her to be the only one leaving. But nvm Verena, we will nvr 4get u =). Make new friends and have fun in NJ, k? Jiayo, Kambate!!

Got my first hp in my life ... at the age of 17 -_-"". I guess tt's pretty lag ... it's Nokia 6288, wanted to get the latest one though (Nokia E45/ Nokia N80), my sis said I have expensive taste but my father couldn't trust me ... so got the cheaper one instead, haha ... At least, now my friends will not complain tt I am uncontactable and I dun have to be the only one in the contact list whose contact no. starts with a "6" ...

Scandal's dying down, so nth much to report. I guess tt's a good sign since we're getting sian of getting teased all the time. GTG now, got proj report and tutorials to do =(.

Hi, loads of stuff happened yesterday.

Went Xiangqi lesson in the morning, won my coach in 15 steps, making it my 2nd memorable win in 3 months, coze he miscalculated. Current score is 2 win, 1 draw, 14 lose, still damn ZB haha .......

Met up with Jonathan at Somerset at 3pm, I was 15 mins late, but it turned out that everyone was late, seems like most of 6C has a problem of punctuality, it was a similar situation in JTS too. In the end, many people didn't turn up for the mini-gathering, so it was just Jonathan, Douglas, Shermaine and me. Douglas bought a slingbag, $179, rich guy .... claimed that it was the money he won through playing Black Jack with his relatives during CNY ><

Went to play pool at K-pool, coze of time constraint we played a 2 on 2 match. Jonathan and mi VS Douglas and Shermaine. Haha, didn't really get to do anything coze Jonathan was so pro he sunk in most of the balls. Made a few tyco shots too, making my 3rd pool game a rather memorable one =)

Talent time was fun, though it got pretty boring towards the end. Diya 忘词, LOL ... People kept teasing me abt the scandal >< Haiz wondered if it's the same for her too ... Oh yah, Shermaine, I'm really really srry for forgetting abt the egg ...

Class outing at Sentosa today, supposed to meet up at Harbourfront at 9.30am but Clement nvr inform mi and it's already 9.45am .... Nvm, meeting up with weicheng at 10.30am later, so gotta go now, bye!

Current time: 1am, feeling damn tired but really happy.

Haha, the guys in 6C as well as my ex-classmates tried to bond/flagpole me todae, but luckily it nvr happened :P. We had JTS at yuki and yaki in Marina Square todae, the food was quite good, ate until damn full. My classmates kept teasing me by asking whether I had an interest in Shermaine >< haha but I fended off by saying that even if I had an interest in her I wouldn't have told them :P

Received some very special birthdae presents todae: A drink and an egg o.O both from Shermaine. The drink had a funny taste though, dunno wad sort of stuff she mixed in it ... but I really liked the egg, with a smiley face drawn on it and the words "Happy Birthday, Alvin!" written on the back, it was so special that I didn't feel like eating it. A decision which I regretted later as I forgot to bring the egg home :(

After the meal, I was dragged by Douglas to the toilet. When we returned, they've prepared a birthday cake for me! Chocolate flavour :) How nice! The class then made me take some photos with Shermaine, teasing me at the same time by asking me to sit closer and put my arm over her shoulder. Well, didn't really mind since it was quite fun :)

Played pool after that, it was the second time in my life playing pool, still damn noob, haizzz. Must learn how to play well ...

Changed my perspective on scandals today, it's not tt bad after all, makes my JC life all the more interesting. Special thanks to Huiping for organising this event as well as all those who were there to celebrate my birthday. Finally, thanks to Shermaine for the presents, I really appreciated it :).

Hmm, it's 1.30am now, got xiangqi lesson tmr at 9am, gtg slp now. Bye!

Hihi, countdown to 17: 52mins :)

Wah, first one to turn 17 in 6C, I feel old. Douglas and Jon commented that I had a few strands of white hair already :( Well, nth much out of the ordinary happened todae, 一切都风平浪静， 直到 math lecture 为止. Someone did something stupid which sorta pissed me off, he or she wrote "Sherm :)" beside my name in the attendance sheet, arrrrghhh ...... this has got to stop ....
Who did that pls own up ....

Chem tutorial was when everything went wrong, Miss Bobillier asked Chenfeng to nominate 3 pple to go up to the board to do question 9 of atomic structure --- doesn't take much of a genius to guess who was nominated. There was loads of commotion when we went up and I realised that they comparing height :S ?!?! After that Miss Bobillier told us to explain our ans, when Shermaine (shan't 隐瞒 since 纸包不住火) finished explaining, the boys were like "Well done, Alvin! 教导有方!" HUH? >< I tried to ignore them by resting my head on the table, Shermaine turned over and told me to ignore them and knocked down my pencil case, causing everyone to look at us (.............. :S).

Haiz, this is driving me nuts .... as much as I look forward to tmr, I am dreading getting bonded/flagpoled/niaoed for scandal ... looks like my 17th birthdae will be very much different from the rest ...
