Went for training last Saturday as usual, but there were some unexpected people --- Han Long and Shi Jie, sec 2 juniors. It's been a long time since I played them, looking forward to see how much they actually improved.

Played with Han Long, he really improved a lot, almost died from his attack, but managed to survive and I won in the end, good match nonetheless =). Shi Jie posed quite some problem to Zixian too, Zixian managed to win only with a 3 pawn advantage. What was quite shocking was that Han Long managed to beat Zixian, well partly because Zixian was screwing around in the later part of the match as he was in a hurry to go, but nonetheless a job well done for Han Long.

Took the bus with my juniors after the lesson and found out that they have 4 training sessions per week o.O. Sort of reminds me of myself when I was in high school :D, have a really positive outlook for the high school club with such promising juniors.

Played pool with my friends that afternoon, lol kept changing teams but my team kept winning. Won 6 times in a row, haha but not all 6 times was due to my input. The last game was quite tyco, my team was trailing by 2 balls but the other team sunk the black ball in the wrong pocket so we won HAHA.

Watched "Diary of Helen something" tt night during SCREAM, haiz couldn't get tickets for the trail ): ): ):. That movie wasn't remotely scary, haizzz so sort of wasted tt night.

Countdown to OP: Approximately 12 hours. Jiayo HI100!! We can do it!! Let's wrap it up in the best way we can!! gtg eat my dinner now, preparing some more questions later, must sleep early tonight =) .

Had problem solving yesterday, quite an enjoyable session even though the questions were imba hard ... The ionic eqm and electrochem questions were manageable, even though couldn't get it on the first try, but at least I could understand the answer, haha.

There was a question requiring us to draw the mass spectrum peaks for the molecular ion ClF3+, the pair tt was called (we were divided into 10 pairs to solve the problems), was weiyang and mi and Sam Lee named us "六海" ( 6C = 6 seas), -_-"". Well weiyang went to draw the peaks, then Sam Lee called a Malaysian scholar and a PRC to show their answers.

After they were done, Sam Lee drew a Singaporean flag over weiyang's answer and asked the Malaysian scholar to do the same. The Malaysian scholar paused for a while, then he turned back to his friend and asked, "How to draw ar?" ZOMG, haha ... The China flag was a bit oversized though ...

Haizz, after the laughs and reflecting upon what happened, maybe it was not really a nice thing to do, sort of divides the whole chem o team. In my opinion, it affects the Singaporeans more since they are sort of overshadowed by the PRCs and Malaysians ... There is another sort of division, juz found out(though I would rather not have) that weiyang, jian ting and mi are the only non-STP people in the team =(. The STP people are having an easier time since they have already learned extra stuff during their normal cirriculum, that means we have to work extra hard to catch up to them, HAIZZZZ.

Bought 17 new chess boards for the club, yay, finally have good chess boards and pieces, this will come in handy when we organise next yr's hc cup =) . Going for the competition on the 18th after all, even though SchO theory paper is on the 19th, haizz but my coach said that I will juz play one round in the morning then I can go study for next day's theory paper, haizz, it's pointless guess I won't really have the mood to play anyway. If I lose it then it will be my first competition with an all-lose record, haha ....

Will be glad once all these are over ... I want my life back!!

This has been a hectic week, dunno where to begin ...

Start off with PW bah, WR finally submitted!! Yay, that leaves OP and I+R for PW, the end is near ... Lol spent the whole morning yesterday doing the final touch-ups and printing the WR. to reward ourselves, we ordered big breakfasts from Macs =) . However, something really stupid happened yesterday, went to Beauty World Plaza with Clement and the others when Sam Lee gave me a call and told me that there was supposed to a chem o training session. o.O?!?!?!?! I had misread the training schedule and thought that it was today, AHHH, I feel dumb ... can't believe I still asked him "Isn't it tomorrow?" He must be pretty pissed ...

Advanced organic 2 was imba ... didn't even have time to read up before the lesson, haizzz so juz sat there and zibei ... just stoned at every question while the teacher walked around to check, and it was damn discouraging to hear her say "I see that most of you can get it" for almost every question ... To make things worse, I slept at 2.30am the previous night, so I was already brain dead barely halfway through the session. I have loads to catch up =( =( =(

True enough, he 'cornered' me after physics paper 1 today, luckily it was not as bad as expected but he actually tested me on when the next training session is juz in case I misread the date again >< . Went to play LAN today, haiz played pretty noobily, have too little experience in team games =( .

Zi Xian and Gim Thia made it past promos, yay everyone's promoted. As if things can't get any better, Zi Xian's joining back laoyao's(my coach) lessons!! Yay, gonna have more lively sessions =) . New competition coming up on 18th Nov, teaming up with my coach, leslie, william. LOL, same team as coach, HAHAHA, rare phenomenon indeed. One problem though ... SchO Theory Paper on 19th Nov ... ARGH, what bad timing ... arrived at yet another crossroad, dunno if I shld give up the comp =( .

Had the first chem o training session on tuesday, it was horrible ... Never once I sat through a lesson being unable to understand almost everything. Grignard reagent, diels alder, michael's addition, methyl shift, newman's projection, fishcher's projection, E Z enantiomers, R S enantiomers ... ZOMG, a lot of new concepts thrown in all in one shot, even chaotong felt stressed haha ... Must work harder =( , sianzz dun like to mug during hols but seems like I have no choice ...

PW website almost done, special thanks to Alvin and Kaiyao for their help, could nvr have done it without their input. OP next, haiz just sat through 3 ppts today, damn boring =( . Will be glad once this whole PW thing is over.

Received back 2 papers today. Generally quite happy with the results but hopefully I can say the same for econs and GP. The chem paper check was damn funny, Sam Lee woke the audi up with interesting dot and cross diagrams, though I have to admit it wasn't really a nice thing to do, can't believe he really drew the smiley faces and this -.-" on the students' papers! Physics was slackier, juz sort of received the papers and left.

Open house tmr!! Heard Boon Pin is coming, yay! It's been a long time since I played him, wondered if he has changed his playing style yet. Wonder if the RV people will come as well ... if they join us then HCI will simply own next yr.

Wonder if I will get selected by MOE, well how my hols will be like would depend on their decision, shall keep my fingers crossed till 15th oct, but either way I won't be happy. Haizz, a lose-lose situation yet again...

Resident Evil 3 rocks!! Damn exciting and thrilling, jumped off my seat about every 10 seconds. Haha, but I guess I shouldn't watch too much of these shows, it's bad for the heart. Well I didn't watch Resident Evil 1 and 2 before but Zixian filled me in before the movie so I could still follow the storyline.

It was quite sad and depressing though, the good characters kept dying at first, either get killed by undead or sacrificed themselves with the undead. The undead crows were imba, there were almost a thousand of them all because one crow went to eat the corpse of an undead but Alice took out all of them with one psychic attack, haha as expected from the main character. Enjoyed the last battle between Alice and the crazy scientist, damn exciting but the way the scientist died was pretty lame.

Haizzz, been slacking too much, the PW website is still the same as ever and I havent started reading for tuesday's chem o lesson ... Must not lose myself ...

Went to LT1 at 2 today, got back my organic and inorganic chem test today. The inorganic one was not bad, 29/40 I think, suppose each question is out of 10 and there were four questions. The organic one was a nightmare haha, 19/60, nvr did so badly for a test before but nvm I dun think anyone actually passed that ><>< .

Eh, but these 20 people are still not the final team yet, MOE will choose from these 20 people, maybe about 7 to 15 people for the national olympiad, so my fate is still uncertain =( . Well, but Sam Lee and Kelvin Tan did remind us that we have to put in a lot of commitment and that we can request to quit if we feel that we cannot fork out the time. Ahhhh, how?? What should I do???

Btw, weiyang, jianting and lerong got in too, congrats! Hmm, but just like mi, weiyang and jianting are still uncertain if they want to go ahead with the training schedule ... Must measure EMB vs EMC, it's hard to make choices ...

Went to a new salon to cut my hair today, haha, the barber was like "your fringe is so long it's almost merging with your eyebrows, do u want me to trim it?", then I said okay ... Hmm, well he went further than trimming it and practically 把我的额头剪高了 and said I looked nicer like that as people can see the shape of my head, LOL?? In addition, he asked me if I styled my hair, I said no and he immediately told me that I should do so because I will look so much nicer and he geled my hair, LOL!! He was more like a hair stylist than a barber. I wasn't really accustomed to my new "hairstyle" but he said I will get used to it, zzzzzzz -_-"

No more DoTA for me I guess, with PW and chem O stuff to do =( . Haizz and I rmb seniors telling me to enjoy my J1 life early this year, guess I failed terribly in that aspect...

Everything's finally over, everything except for PW i guess =( ... Well, physics SPA was a nightmare, the stupid ammeter was faulty, kept reading zero, spent loads of time on it until Miss Li came and helped me replace the ammeter ... Haizzz, got pretty panicky and screwed up skill C pretty badly ;( . Nvm, nth I can about it anyways ...

Well, there are even fewer people at my coach's lessons now ... just Nich from Xinmin, the pri sch kid well and mi .... that's about it ... Haizzz, missed those days where it was still pretty 热闹, timothy, kevin, zixian, leslie, jinxiang. Hope they will resume, miss those lively sessions ... 综乡会馆 coming soon ... coach wants mi to get champ, but there's a difference between what you want and what you can get ;(

Picking up DoTA again lolzz, looks like a lot has changed since I last played, the AI is damn strong now ... Need to start work on PW website soon =(, Alvin still havent reply my sms ...
