Quite an eventful week ... Have been so busy that I have no time to post ...
Waterpolo finals on Monday --- lost to RJC 5-1 =( . Nvm, I think we still put up a good fight, only that RJC was just too good. Cheered like mad and almost lost my voice, haha ... Clement made quite a number of cool saves, but too bad RJC was just too 猛, couldn't have expected him to save everything...
Played against 赵汝权 on the very same day. 赵汝权 is the Hong Kong Grandmaster, otherwise known as 特级大师 o.O Wow, that was a once in a lifetime opportunity, couldn't afford to miss that even though had to hand up my PI on Thursday ... Supposed to meet at Bishan CC at 7pm, went reached there at 6.45pm after having dinner... The others who are supposed to play 赵汝权(U18 Char Yong Cup top 4) arrived slightly later. Chatted for quite a bit and went to look at the results of previous competitions which were quite interesting --- found out that Junyang was national 14th o.O cool!
赵汝权arrived at 8pm, thnx man ... he didn't really seem apologetic for having made us wait ... haha but nvm at least can get to play him ... Junyang didnt come on that day, dunno why ... In the end only mi, xiankai and timothy played him. My match ended in a draw, sian, not really because I played well, but because the nature of the 布局is drawish ... the match was dead even but his end game was really good. In the end, he had a slight advantage but it wasn't enough to win ... so the match ended in a draw ...
Rushed through PI the next few days, damn tiring, been sleeping late since good friday ... Felt so happy after handing in the PI on Thursday =) Got my PI grouping, 4 members in my team --- working with Huifang, Cheryl and Huiping, 希望我们合作愉快 =)
Chess lesson today, my coach was sick but he still played me, and won -_- . Haha, coze he used red and he maintained his natural advantage, I lost seed and lost, haha ... still so imba even though he's sick, 真是望尘莫及 but hope he gets well soon ... He went to rest after that and gave mi a puzzle, claiming that it's a 精品. He also claimed that he had trouble with the puzzle and thought of it even when he's walking, in the toilet etc. Wow, I stared at it and finally solved it after 3 hours ... Yay, only have 2 more puzzles to solve for my homework, of which one is a 棺材棋(dug out from someone's grave >.< my goodness, have more respect for the dead pls ...)
